Pastor Miriam Sherrod Copeland
Pastor Copeland is Founder and Senior- Pastor of Faith In God Deliverance, a non-denominational multi-
cultural church in Suffolk, VA.
Pastor Miriam Sherrod Copeland is a native of Suffolk, VA., where she lives with her husband Randolph. She is
the mother of two sons, David, and Randy. She is the grandmother of Dajon and Jada. Pastor Miriam has one
godson Joshua and two goddaughters, Naiya & Jaylah.
Pastor Copeland is the daughter of Elder James H. Sherrod and the late Frances J. Sherrod. Pastor Copeland
was anointed and appointed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Her Christian upbringing prepared her to
start the journey with Christ.
She served diligently as a Minister, Armor Bearer, Church Administrator, and Prayer Counselor. Pastor
Copeland also served in the Finance Department, Intercessory Prayer Ministry and Altar Ministry.
Pastor Copeland is a 1975 graduate of Suffolk High School located in Suffolk VA. Pastor Miriam continued her
education at Tidewater Community College in Chesapeake VA. Later, Pastor Copeland transferred to
Providence Bible College and Theological Seminary located in Norfolk VA., where she received her biblical
training.
God has called Pastor Copeland to preach and teach the Word of God with boldness, clarity and demonstration
so that souls may be saved. It is Pastor Copeland’s desire that people will not only be hearers of the Word of
God, but that they are doers and allow God to have His way in their life.
Pastor Copeland is completely sold out for God and truly believes that the Christian Life is a “Faith Walk”. She
further believes that in this last season God is calling us to teach the Word of God with “clarity” and all power
through Jesus Christ.
Pastor Miriam Sherrod Copeland has a mandate from the Lord to release “God’s people to operate in His
Glory.”
Pastor Miriam is a Chaplain for Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA.
She is also Co-Founder and President of (YUCCA) Youth Under Christian Covering Association, a non profit
organization. Our vision is to train and equip our youth to achieve their God given purpose.
